Living Seeds
Packets are living, perishable garden seeds. We do not accept returns for change of mind after a packet has been delivered.
Final Sale After Delivery
Once the courier has delivered the packet, that sale is final except for the damage, wrong-item, and missing-item cases below.
Damaged Packets
If the packet arrives broken, crushed, or wet, email photos within 48 hours of the courier marking it delivered. We will replace or refund the affected items.
Wrong Variety
If the labelled variety is not what you ordered, tell us and we will send the correct packet at our cost.
Reporting Window
Damage, shortage, or a wrong variety must be reported within 48 hours of the courier delivery timestamp. After that we cannot fairly tell transit damage from later handling.
Photos Help
A few clear photos (and a short unboxing video if you have one) speed this up. A video is helpful, not mandatory if the photos show the problem.
How We Decide
Replacements and refunds are decided on the facts you send us. We reply by email.
How Money Comes Back
Prepaid Razorpay orders go back to the original payment method. Approved COD refunds are paid by UPI or bank transfer to details you give us. Allow 5 to 7 business days after we approve.
Shipping Fees
The original shipping charge is not refunded unless we sent the wrong item or the packet was damaged in transit and we are not replacing it. Payment-gateway fees that Razorpay keeps may not come back.
Germination
Failure to germinate after delivery is not a refund reason. Growing conditions vary. See also the Terms page.
Storage After Delivery
We cannot refund packets stored hot, damp, or open after they reached you.
Cancellations
Logged-in customers can cancel from the account page while the order still shows as Order Placed. After it moves to Processing, Packed, or Shipped, that button is removed. Email us and we will stop it only if the packet has not already gone to the courier.
Out of Stock After You Pay
If we cannot supply a variety, we refund that line or send a replacement you agree to.
Missing Items
If something listed on the invoice is not in the packet, tell us as soon as you can (within the 48-hour window). We will ship it or refund that line.
Free or Promo Seeds
Complimentary or campaign packets have no cash refund.
If a Return Is Approved
We rarely ask for a packet back. If we do, we will say who pays the return postage.
Unopened Packets
An authorised return must still be sealed and unused.
Coupons
Promo codes have no cash value. Unused coupon discount is not paid out as money.
Refused or Returned Packets
Shipping and any return-to-origin cost are not refunded. For a prepaid order we may refund the seed value minus those costs. A COD refusal is not refunded because payment was not collected.
Change of Mind
You may cancel while the order is still Order Placed (see Cancellations). After dispatch, change of mind is not a refund reason.
Talk to Us First
Email or WhatsApp before opening a payment dispute. We can usually sort a genuine packing error faster that way.
Keep the Packet
Hold the packaging until we have confirmed a damage or shortage claim.
Gateway Deductions
If Razorpay deducts a processing fee on a reversal, that slice may not be returned.
Seed Count
Small differences in seed count or size are normal in hand-saved packets and are not a refund reason.
How to Claim
Email us with your order number in the subject, plus photos where relevant.
